Position: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
A growing AI and machine learning-focused startup is seeking its first Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join an ambitious team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to building the foundation of a world-class sales function while engaging with senior decision-makers. The role focuses on driving growth through strategic outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify and target potential customers.
- Outbound activities to potential prospects through phone and email connections.
- Build relationships with prospective clients through a consultative sales approach.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly appointment-setting goals.
- Utilize modern sales tools (e.g., Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo) to enhance prospecting efficiency.
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting, cold calling, discovery, and setting meetings to handing over opportunities to the Account Executive.
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM system to ensure seamless communication with the sales team.
Ideal Experience:
- At least 12 months of experience in lead generation and personalized outreach, preferably within SaaS.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to build rapport with prospects quickly and effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and enjoys collaborating with people.
- Experience in technology-related fields (Data, Analytics, FP&A) is a plus but not required.
